TLDR;
Hay, smooth, orange pulp and creamy.

Always good to have some grain-sky in between the enormous never-ending waves of malts. Grain-sky always offers comfortable orange pulp and rum-y feelings. Quality alternatives!
Oh..... you even see the pulps in the whisky; wait, that's the light reflecting into my glass.
Girvan 1990 31 YO 50.6%
Nose: Still a typical high-age grain on the nose. Orange peels with pulp, the ethanol presence is strong than other whiskies having the same ABV. A big hay expression as well with the same old rum-y feelings on the nose. A bit of the glue smells, and this is getting illegal. Not so much of other flavours when first opened.
Mouth: Rum-y sweetness, soft in the mouth. Unlike the previous release of grain-sky from the PST, peppery spices are present but they don't steal the show. Creamy and a very smooth experience.
Finish: Warm, subtle peppery spice and butter. Also, a feeling of kinetic sand in the mouth.
I personally like this a lot. Smooth experience, easy to enjoy and a good price. This bottle does show a side of the beauty of grain-sky.
