TLDR;
Salty, leathery, peat and lemon

Laphroaig Cask Strength Batch 15, aged for at least 10 years in Ex-bourbon barrels. Bottling at a cask strength of 56.5%. There are added colours, for bourbon barrels, fine.
Laphroaig 10YO Cask Strength Batch 15 56.5%
Nose: The Isaly peat is waving at you, bonfire, leather, honey sweetness and salty BBQ seashells. There are lemon notes together with a strong alcoholic presence, too. A slight memory of nail polish flashed past in my mind. There are vanilla and light sugary notes at the back, and with bacon notes as well.
Mouth: Leathery and salty- as if you take a good sip of the seawater. Dirty and smokey, soil peatiness and a good presence of oak spice. Oily, sweet and lemon.
Finish: The flavours evaporate quickly; what's left is the oiliness and saltiness.
Nevertheless, it is a dram that I do enjoy, Laphroaig isn't a distillery that I have actively looked into due to the ridiculous price in the IB scene, and OB I just felt there is something lacking as well. But this one provides a good experience, and with the warmness it delivers during drinking, it is suitable for the current period of Monsoon season In Singapore.
