Auchroisk 2008 14 YO 55.5%
Nose: Sticky brown sugar when first opened, then it shows the plums, dusty pumpkin seeds, and raisins with some damp wood.
Mouth: Creamy, thus cream puff feelings, still reminds me of bits of dusty pumpkin seeds, the first few (2) sips gave me a strong alcohol attack. Malts in the hay-hope you get what I mean. Overall the brown sugary sweetness feeling remains.
Finish: Oak spice, raisin and light damp wood.
Interesting cask usage and interesting end product; other than the first two sips, I think the rest of the experience is ok. Brown sugar and dusty pumpkin seeds lead the expressions.
I hope you have eaten or get a chance to try this triangular shape bun with brown sugar in the future. The finishing tasting is exactly like this.
Nice scale: 83/100
-Sweet ending, it fits my taste bud for that day.
